Precision Shot Matching & Color Balance
Pick a reference frame, press Apply, and LUMERIX measures the difference in exposure, contrast, white balance, tint, saturation and tonal color balance between the two shots - then corrects it, with skin and highlight protection.
Professional Film Texture & Optical Finishing
Film grain that changes every frame, red-orange halation around real highlights, threshold-based bloom and a soft film response - subtle by default and fully controllable.
The workflow
LUMERIX and GRAINOVA are built to sit either side of your normal grade, not to replace it - each plug-in does one job, in order.
Analyze a reference shot and apply the correction to the shot you're cutting against it, so the sequence reads as one scene before you start grading.
Grade in Resolve's own color page exactly as you already do. LUMERIX hands you a matched starting point; it does not touch your grading tools.
Once the grade is locked, add film grain, halation, bloom and film response last, so the finish sits on top of a stable image.
LUMERIX
Deterministic frame-by-frame video analysis, not a black box. The same inputs always give the same result.
Go to the shot you want to match to and press Analyze Reference. Only numbers are stored, no frame.
Go to the shot to fix and press Apply. The MATCH controls fill in with the measured difference; open ADVANCED only if the shot needs finer per-zone balance.
Adjust any value, set Match Strength, and use Show Original for a before/after check.
What sets it apart
LUMERIX and GRAINOVA are narrow on purpose. Each does one job well rather than trying to be a full grading suite.
One plug-in matches shots, the other adds texture and optical finishing. There is less to learn, and less that can conflict with the rest of your grade.
Apply fills in a measured starting correction or a look preset from real numbers. Every value it sets is then a normal, adjustable parameter - it hands you a start, not a final answer.
Analysis and rendering happen on your computer. The same footage and settings always produce the same result, and no footage or reference frame is uploaded to run either plug-in.
Each plug-in opens with the handful of controls that define the look; the finer, rarely-touched parameters live in a collapsed Advanced section instead of crowding the main panel.
Both plug-ins render on all CPU cores (GRAINOVA also includes a CUDA path, not yet verified inside Resolve). Reorganizing the controls into simple and advanced panels was checked with internal CPU benchmarking and made no measurable difference to render time.

Both plug-ins process your video locally. Video frames, reference frames and projects are never uploaded. The only network traffic is license activation and periodic validation - a device identifier, the plug-in name and version, and your license key.
